Can I use the image of a celebrity? An athlete? A politician?
Customers must have the rights to use images submitted. In most cases, if you took the photograph that you're uploading then you own the rights to that image. If someone else took the photo, you need their permission to use that image. If you have photos from a professional photographer you may need to obtain a written release from them to use the images.
Due to rights of publicity, there are instances where you may not be allowed to use a photo even if you took it. If the image is of someone famous, there is a good chance that there may be a right of publicity issue.
